Silent Assassin- New Player Guide-Assassin
Silent Assassin is a fantastic game that you should definitely be playing! But, before you begin, you’ll need to know about the three roles (Target, Guard, Assassin). This Silent Assassin Roles guide will tell you everything you need to know before playing. Read carefully, you don’t want to miss any of this information!
Playing as the Assassin-
What would a game of assassination be without an Assassin? -Just a bunch of nerds in suits and sunglasses, and one of them acting like he’s James Bond, that’s what! Ha! Here’s all you need to know about playing as an Assassin.
Intro-
Welcome to the Creed, young Assassin. This secret order was formed thousands of years ago in order to provide a valuable service to the world; Death. Death for one, is life for another. Black and White. Yen and Yang. Life and Death. This is balance. This is the way.
Objective-
Hear my words apprentice, your contract will be the same every time; Stalk and kill the Target. This is what it means to be in the Creed of Assassins. If you can manage it, your second objective is to return here alive. You belong to us now. Whatever you do, do not bring dishonor to the Creed by failing your primary mission.
Loadout-
I give to you the Assassin’s Dagger. This will be the tool you use to fulfil your contracts, and kill your Targets. Also, I bestow the ancient Assassin techniques -Cloak and Sprint. These techniques can be used freely, but they runout quickly and take a several seconds to recharge. So, use them wisely. As your reputation grows within the Creed, and you gain more coin, you will also be allowed to unlock gear and perks to aid in your dark task.
You will need to use all the tools at your disposal if you want to preform the perfect Assassination job, and bring honor to the Creed of the Assassin!
Rewards Payout-
If you bring honor to the Creed, you will be rewarded in Xp and coin. You will also earn a bonus if you manage to escape with your life. You will not get any reward for killing Guards, but that should not stop you from taking a few out, just for fun 😉 A dead Guard today, is a dead Target tomorrow… as I always say.
Pro Tips-
My student, I will now impart some of my wisdom unto you… listen closely.
-Do not rush in attacking without thinking. That is the way of an ox. You are not an ox, for you are an Assassin! Take your time and plan your attack.
-Do not attempt a kill when the Guards surround the Target. Let the Target move away from them a little… he always does at some point. The Target and the Guards lack the discipline of we Assassins.
-Do not forget that you can often go high above your Target and jump down upon him without taking damage. Take the doomed Target and his Guards by surprise.
- Before your first mission, I will let you in on a little Assassin secret: There are hidden areas and tunnels that only a trained Assassin can use. Use them to get closer to your Target… and then to escape!
Conclusion-
All the rituals have been preformed. All the ancient words chanted. Now you are an agent of life and death… mostly death; if I’m being honest. Never the less, you are now prepared to serve the Creed, as an Assassin!
